1) Find the widest distance of the zygomatic arches (cheek bones) of the bear's skull.


2) Find the lingest distance from the occipital bone (back of the skull) to the front teeth.


3) Use a ruler to record the length and width up to the nearest 16th of an inch for both steps.  Add the two numbers together to get the score.
