High Country Guide Service is owned and operated by Matt Moskiewicz (Registered Guide-Outfitter #1319). Since 2000 Matt has made his living guiding hunters, fisherman, photographers, filmmakers, geologists, birders and other outdoor enthusiasts all over the Pacific.
If you are looking for a trip in Alaska that brings you to the finest hunting and fishing and guided by a real mountian man, then High Country Guide Service is for you. Matt prides himself on his totally custom made trips. A few things that set him apart from the rest is that he only books one hunter (or group) at a time which assures that all your needs can be met. Matt does all the guiding, you will never be stuck with an assistant guide. Matt is in the field year round so you won't be booking with one of those outfits that only operates 6 weeks out of the year and spends the rest of their time somewhere else. Trips are currently being booked for black bear (inland and coastal), grizzly and brown bear, Dall sheep, mountain goats, moose, caribou, predator hunting, trapping, waterfowl and wing shooting. Matt also offer's trips for non-hunters such as fishing, rafting, hiking, photography and wilderness expedition.
