Alaska Bear Guide Killed During Hunt

Alaska State Troopers announced that a Wasilla hunting guide was fatally shot during a guided brown bear hunt near Wrangell on Sunday, May 30th.

Troopers stated that the shooting appeared to have been an accident and there was no indication of foul play. The 50-year-old Alaskan guide was shot by a 51-year-old Michigan man he was guiding.

Alaska State Troopers and the Wrangell Police Department are investigating.
