Bear Hit By Combine In Wisconsin

A big black bear was killed in northern Dunn County near Boyceville could prove to be a record-breaker.

The bear was hibernating in a corn field, when a farmer ran over the animal with his combine. The farmer's wife says the bear measured 7 feet long and weighed more than 700 pounds (618 field dressed weight).

The family was able to keep the bear, but it will be two months before the bear can be officiall measured.
