Virginia Man Charged With Selling Bear Mount

A grand jury has indicted a Churchville, Virginia man on a charge of selling a mounted black bear to an undercover agent.
According to an indictment returned by an Augusta County grand jury, Jonathan Goble accepted a $200 deposit from the undercover officer on August 28th. The agent said Goble completed the sale on September 2nd.
It is illegal to sell bears in Virginia.
