Black Bear Checks Out Utah Hospital, Bear Hunting Magazine

Barton Memorial Hospital reported on Friday that a bear paid an unexpected visit that was caught on the hospital security camera.

Auxiliary members looked up and saw the bear walking into the hospital front lobby. Surveillance cameras caught the bear on tape.

The bear made it through one set of automatic glass doors but became spooked with the second set and turned around and returned to the forest.

We do share these beautiful Sierras with California black bears and its a good thing they are so docile, John Williams, CEO for the Barton HealthCare System, said in a statement.

The hospital noted to get to the front entrance the bear would have walked past a 6-foot fiberglass Dr. Bear sculpture.
