Persistent Michigan woman enjoys successful opening day

Shelly Hall has been entering the bear hunting license pool for 8 years, and this year, her persistence paid off. Hall was picked from the lottery of almost 52,000 applicants. After purchasing the license, Hall took the week off of work and began hunting opening day.
