USPS Increases Will Change Shipping Costs

The US Postal Service has announced their rate increases that will begin on January 27, 2013. Although, we at Bear Hunting Magazine have been able to keep our shipping rates on DVDs, books and other products the same over the last ten years even with the almost yearly increases in postage costs by the USPS, this year we have no choice but to change our rates on a number of our products.

The changes will include, but are not limited to:

• First DVD shipping cost will stay at $3.00, but each additional DVD purchased under the same transaction will increase from $1 each to $1.50 each to U.S. Addresses.

• Shipping costs for books will increase from $3.00 for the first book to $3.50 to U.S. Addresses. Each additional book purchased under the same transaction will increase from $2.25 to $2.50 each to U.S. Addresses.

• Shipping for bear calls will increase by $0.25 each to U.S. Addresses.

• Shipping of products to Canada and International addresses will also increase, but rates have yet to be determined. The USPS rates to Canada and other International Addresses have increased the most, as much as 50% for some such as shipping of books and DVDs.

Rate increases will be updated on our website on January 25, 2013 for all orders placed as of that date.

Thank you for your continued support of bear hunting and Bear Hunting Magazine. We hope to continue to provide to you with the best bear hunting information available.
