A 24-year-old man was mauled to death Sunday morning while cleaning a grizzly bear enclosure at a wildlife casting agency near Bozeman.

Local sheriff's deputies, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens and the Bridger Canyon Fire Dept responded to the reported mauling and believe the man was mauled by one or both of the captive-bred grizzly bears at the facility.

The man, originally from Pennsylvania, was reportedly cleaning the bear's enclosure when the attack occurred. The bear was put down in order to recover the victim from the enclosure.
