Montana To Close BMU 700 Black Bear Season

By order of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission, the hunting of all black bears in Bear Management Unit 700 will close one-half hour after sunset on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
The order halting the hunt came shortly after Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the district had been met.
