Wisconsin Dog Deaths Due To Wolves At SevenWisconsin DNR, Bear Hunting Magazine
A bear hunting dog was killed by wolves Sunday in far southwest Douglas County, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reported. This is the second such incident in a little over a week. On September 29, wolves injured a bear hound in the Lincoln County town of Tomahawk. The dog involved in this incident was expected to survive.
So far this year seven dog deaths and three dogs who were injured have been attributed to wolves after being reported to the Wisconsin DNR. So far, all have been in the far northern part of the state.
