The Wisconsin DNR is looking for hunters in their state to take part in the agency's annual bear hunting course. The program features classroom and field instruction as well as a real hunt with mentors.

Hunters who are at least 10 years-old, have not participated in the course before and have never purchased a bear hunting license are eligible. Applications must be postmarked by May 25, 2012.

The Wisconsin DNR has offered the course since 2005 in hopes of recruiting new hunters and also offers similar courses for deer, turkey and duck hunting.
