Third Bear Reported Hit By Cars In Week

Accidents reports are starting to roll in from various states across the U.S. of bears getting hit by vehicles while crossing the road. Here is just one of these recent news stories:

Massachusetts police had to kill a bear that was hit by two different cars near the city of Hancock. The adult-sized bear was hit on Route 20 Sunday night and was found lying in the road with two broken hind legs. Neither driver was hurt, but one car had ad considerable damage and had to be towed away.


Other bears have been recently hit and killed in Michigan and Minnesota.
